Frequently asked questions

How Myrtle365 works for fans, talent, and venues on the Grand Strand.

How do I find shows?+

Discover is every live show on the Grand Strand in one place. Filter to Tonight or This weekend, narrow by town, or switch to the calendar to plan further out — there's also a map view if you 'd rather see what's on near where you are.

What does following an act or venue do?+

It puts them in your Following feed, so their new dates reach you without you going looking. You can follow straight from a show row on Discover — no need to open each page. Acts and venues see how many people follow them, but not who.

What happens when I RSVP?+

It tells the venue to expect you, which is how a small room decides whether to staff a busy night. Set + guestsif you're bringing people — venues plan on heads, not on yeses. Your first name and photoare shared with the act and venue when you RSVP or check in. If a show is called off, everyone who RSVP'd gets an email and an in-app notice.

Can I post my photos and videos from a show?+

Yes — that's a fan drop. Snap a photo (or a short video clip) at the show and drop it on the act's or venue's page. They review every drop, and once it's approved it appears under “From the crowd”on their page, credited to you by name. Nothing goes public until they say yes, and you can only drop on a page you're dropping to — no posting on somebody else's behalf.

What is my crew?+

Your crewis the friends you're connected to here. Share your invite link and whoever opens it connects with you in one tap — then you can message each other and see which nights you're both going to. Remove anyone any time.

Do fans have to pay?+

No — fans are free forever. Discover shows, follow acts and venues, and RSVP without a subscription or a card.

What's my EPK, and what should I put on it?+

Your EPK is your act's one-page pitch — bio, genres, rate, members, socials, a banner and photos. Edit it at Your EPK. It has its own shareable link and prints as a clean sheet, so it's the thing to paste in an Instagram bio or send to a booker. Fans land there too, so every show on it can be RSVP'd.

How do my shows get listed?+

The venue posts the show and links your act to it — then it appears on your page, on theirs, and on Discover automatically. We also find shows ourselves from posters and listings; those show up marked Unverifieduntil you or the venue confirms the details in one tap. Confirming is what opens RSVPs. Spot a wrong time? There's an ✎ Edit show link under the row.

Fans are sending me photos — what happens to them?+

Nothing goes public until you say so. Fan drops land in a review queue on your dashboard; approve one and it appears under “From the crowd”on your page, credited to the fan. Reject it and it's gone. Un-reviewed drops are removed after two weeks, and we'll notify you a few days before that happens.

How do venues and fans reach me?+

Through Messages — booking enquiries and fan messages arrive in the same inbox, tied to your act rather than to your personal email. Turn on the email nudge in Accountand you'll get a heads-up (no message content) when something arrives, so you don't have to keep checking.

Can I see who follows me?+

You see the count on your dashboard, and the names and photosof followers who have also RSVP'd to one of your shows. Everyone else stays a number — following you is private to the fan, and only RSVPing shares a name. Followers see your new dates in their Following feed without you posting anywhere.

How do I create a talent (act) account?+

First, sign up for a free account (every account starts as a fan). Then go to Account and choose Create your act — or open the Talent directory and tap Create your act. Enter your act name, type, and home town and you're set: you get an EPK to fill out at Your EPK. New acts start unverified — our team reviews and adds the verified badge. Already listed on Myrtle365 (e.g. we found you in a show listing)? Find your act in the directory and claim it instead.

How do I list a venue?+

From Venues (or your Account page), choose List your venue. Add your name, town, type, and capacity. Like acts, a new venue starts unverified until our team reviews it — then you can post shows and manage bookings.

I'm a solo player looking for a gig — where do I go?+

Join The Sound Check as a TAG (Talent Awaiting Gig): from the Sound Check tap Join the Sound Checkand fill out your instruments, genres, and availability so acts can find you. It's free through launch, then about $5/mo.

What does “unverified” mean, and how do I get verified?+

Unverified means the listing exists but our team hasn't confirmed it yet. Once you create or claim an act/venue, activation (a card on file with a free launch trial) grants the verified badge and full rights. A launch code can also comp verification with no card during launch.
